Terms of Employment
CSC is a Health and Human Service organization serving children, adult, and families in need. Its programmatic service mix and provision of care is ever changing, both in response to trends in public and private funding as well as CSC vision of the most effective mental and behavioral health, psychological and social intervention strategies. These policies and procedures are subject to change by CSC without prior notice. CSC employment policies and procedures confer no obligations on the organization or any right to employment or continued employment to any employee or contractor. The provisions herein do not constitute a contract between CSC and any employee or contractor and do not provide any contractual obligations or employment promise.
All employment status is contractual consultant during the first six (6) months. The Consultant will have the opportunity to demonstrate or acquire excellent skills to qualify him/her to convert to employee status during this period. The Consultant will be evaluated before his/her 90th day. If he/she performs very well, the Executive Director or his/her assigned may waive the remaining 90 days of the probationary period. Such waiver is dependent on the consultant’s performance level. If the consultant failed to perform up to the expectation of CSC’s reviewer, the consultant may be terminated or allowed to complete the six months probationary period. There will be another performance evaluation at the end of the probation. Once satisfactory performance is acquired at the end of either the 90th day or the 180th day performance evaluation, the consultant can apply to convert to CSC employee with all the benefits.
