Our Events & Activities are always therapeutic! The skills learning & development through counseling, psychotherapy, psycho-education, training, exercise, healthy competition, high energy dispensation, relaxation, social, leisure, recreational treatment or rehabilitation is guaranteed. The healing & fulfilling outcome is what sets us apart from other agencies!! How an event or activity bring a person closer to recovery; the relationship, e.g. achieve the set goals in the Individualized Service Plan (ISP) is our objective!!!
Below is the Youth Center Program Curriculum/Schedule of Activities broken down by days and times. These programs may not take place daily. Availability depends on IRP and authorizations permitted by the regulations or Payer
Readers Roundtable targets boys and girls deficient in reading and writing (developmental or mental health challenges contributing to the impairment is our target e. g. ADHD).
Study Hall targets boys and girls deficient in English & Mathematics (developmental or mental health challenges contributing to the impairment is our target e. g. ADHD).
Rites of Passage targets middle school boys or children at that functioning level (developmental or mental health challenges contributing to the impairment is our target e. g. ADHD).
“Boys Club” comprised of high school boys drop out or academic deficiencies (developmental or mental health challenges contributing to the impairment is our target e. g. ADHD).
“Girls Club” comprised of high school girls drop out or academic deficiencies (developmental or mental health challenges contributing to the impairment is our target e. g. ADHD).
Athletic program, Health Education & Awareness and Delinquency Prevention Workshops targets all boys and girls (developmental or mental health challenges contributing to the impairment is our target e. g. ADHD).
Adult services, independent and semi independent development, family development, personal, emotional and social development, youth incentive programs, social skills and responsibility, personal hygiene and grooming, personal relationships, personal safety and time management, life skills development, vocational and job training, money management, dating, marriage, and family planning, nutrition, accessing community resources and services, decision making, conflict resolution and career development is for all members (developmental or mental health challenges contributing to the impairment is our target e. g. ADHD).
These activities will take place in the open schedules in the time table.
